About me

My name is Truong and I'm proud to be Vietnamese — the food alone is worth it. 🍜

I graduated with a Computer Science degree from San Francisco State University in 2013, then spent 2014–2019 in Vietnam working at Ogilvy Vietnam as a front-end engineer for 5+ years. After moving back to the US, I freelanced for a while.

Before landing at Costco, I was managing a sandwich store from A to Z — daily operations, the team, the customers, everything. Since June, I've been with the Costco team, bringing that same work ethic to a new environment. I still love building for the web and tinker with side projects whenever I can.

I write about code, travel, photography, and life here — in English and Vietnamese.
